Project Description
Often times it is years after someone moves into a home before they may have the opportunity to customize it the way they would prefer. That was the case here where these homeowners had lived with it as long as possible and were finally ready to get the master shower they deserved. Through careful design & planning, we were able to increase the footprint of the shower by mitering the angled entrance, and maintaining the open feeling in the bathroom. This gave us the necessary room to add a shower bench with granite top without making the shower feel tight. The homeowners also wanted the look of a stained cabinet while not incurring the cost of a new vanity. We repainted the vanity to look more like a wood cabinet and matched two individual framed mirrors. A new larger tile floor made the room feel large and was less maintenance with fewer grout lines. Add a full repaint and voila! A relaxing master bath that will carry them through future decades.
