Project Description
“When a kitchen loves a homeowner, it can’t keep its mind on nothin’ else”… this project is one of our favorites as the end result was just sublime. Done with class and taste, there’s nothing left to be desired here. Extensive custom everhart built cabinetry throughout the kitchen and laundry areas. Above the main sink area is featured one of everhart’s trademarks, the infinity edge countertop taking you right out of the full height window. This removes any hard to clean areas from behind the sink and makes a world of difference in the way of natural light and the removal of any unnecessary shadows. The refrigerator wall features an intricate stepped design that breaks up what would otherwise be a long, plain surface front. A lowered elevation at the desk area serves both the homeowner’s function and the spaces’ aesthetics in the same manner. The custom built-in china hutch features interior cabinet lights which illuminate through the thick glass shelving and through the glass door fronts. Oil rubbed bronze pulls and knobs dance along the fronts of the doors and drawers like music notes, paving the way for future use. A masterfully designed tall countertop section rests to the left of the sink highlighting yet another illuminated cabinet above a niche designed for a small built-in breakfast television, and below that a sharply placed appliance garage. Above the slide in range a lattice like backsplash reminiscent of a cherry pie is all the inspiration a chef would need. Tiffany style pendent lights add the perfect dash of color to this already dashing space.
