Project Description
Carport conversions are a great way to recapture some of the existing footprint and better utilize the space for you and your family. Throughout this conversion we added a structural header across the front of the carport, re-framed the ceiling, enclosed an existing window leading to the breakfast room, added electrical for interior and exterior lights and replaced the non-fire rated breakfast room door. Old Brick can always be a challenge to match, although the finished product here couldn’t have been a closer match- 40 years later. We upgraded the new garage door and added an l.e.d. display garage control with an extra quiet opener. This conversion looks true to the home and is now a functional, finished space.
