About Everhart Construction

After the addition of Lee Mash ( Vice President & General Manager ) in 2009, Everhart Construction switched its focus to custom residential remodeling specializing in room additions, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels and whole house remodels. Lee has been in the custom remodeling field since 1985 and has been in the Houston area since 1991. His extensive background in Architectural design combined with his knowledge of residential remodeling, has helped make the partnership between Clay and Lee the ideal business relationship.

The Everhart Construction of today is a full service custom remodeling firm. We do everything from a cracked tile floor to a leaky roof and everything in-between. Over the past 3 years, we have completed over 700 remodeling projects and have not had one complaint filed against us , earning us an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and the coveted Goldstar Award for Outstanding Customer Service.

Most of the Craftsmen that work with Everhart Construction have worked with us for 7-8 years and some as long as 10-11 years. In the remodeling business, when a company can keep their Craftsmen as long as we have, chances are, we are doing something right. The big plus here is that when we estimate your project and give you a completion time frame, we know exactly how well our teams work and we know how long your project will take, there is no guess work and we are not breaking in new guys with your home and family.

Everhart Construction employs design consultants not just order takers. When a design consultant arrives at your home he or she will discuss your project in length to get a good understanding of what you are trying to achieve with your remodeling project. After the initial meeting, your design consultant will prepare a written itemized estimate showing the individual cost of each item or category for your project. This estimate is usually ready within 24-48 hours depending upon the complexity of your project. In many cases we also provide drawings for the project as is and with the proposed changes. This helps us all have a better understanding of exactly what the project will look like when completed. Once you have decided to have Everhart Construction build your project, we normally schedule a start date within 3 to 5 days from the time you sign your contract. Once our team of craftsmen start your project, they will be there every day, all day until the project is completed. This type of scheduling practice allows Everhart construction to complete our projects in about half the time of many, many other companies.

You can also expect a visit from your design consult about every day depending upon the scale of your project. At Everhart Construction your design consultant is also your project manager. This helps the project move much smoother, there is no middle man for you to have to deal with while the project is underway. We find that this eliminates a lot of confusion in the field between separate sales people, separate project managers and the home owner. Communication is vital when remodeling your home and the less people you have to deal with, the smoother the project will run.
